An engineering graduate with diploma in Business Management and export Marketing. Have an experience of over 35 years in the telecom sector. Experience includes all facets of telecom be it Product Development, Business Development, Telecom Licensing, Regulatory issues & Spectrum Management.

All these years I have held very prestigious positions as Director in leading telecom companies like Bharti Airtel Ltd., Shyam Telecom Ltd., Cellular Operators Association of India, Vice Chairman, Global ICT Standardisation Forum for India and Director General TAIPA.

Have many first to my credit like finalization of joint ventures, technical collaboration, introduction of new products, launch of new services in India and finalization of licence agreements / interconnect agreements.

Work very closely with institutions like ITU/APT/WWRF with regards to the spectrum/regulatory matters.

Very actively involved with various professional institutions / associations to promote the interest of telecom sector and published many papers in telecom.

Dinesh Chand Sharma

Director – Standards & Public Policy
EU Project SESEI

Since 2012, Mr. Dinesh Chand Sharma is associated with EUROPEAN STANDARDISATION PROJECT SESEI as Director – Standards and Public Policy. In this role and as Seconded European Standardization Expert in India, Mr. Sharma acts as the focal point in India representing the European standardization model on behalf of its five Project partners: European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), European Committee for Standardization (CEN), European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC), European Commission (EC) and European Free Trade Association (EFTA). The activity of the Project SESEI is focused around sectors covering Smart City, ICT, Automotive and Electrical Equipment including Consumer Electronics.

Prior to this, Mr. Sharma worked with Ericsson for 15 years, having last working profile as “Director – Regulatory Affairs & Industry Relation”. Mr. Sharma began his career in Technical Customer Support back in 1992 and has over 26 years of industry experience covering various profiles such as Head of Regulatory Affairs, Head of Accounts & Commercial Management, Service Delivery and Customer Support Management both in India and abroad. Mr Sharma also hold various Industry position such as Chairman Advisory Committee for M2M+IoT Forum India, Chairman - Standards & Policy Working Group of IET IoT Panel, and active membership at Telecommunication Engineering Centre, Department of Telecom, Bureau of Indian Standards etc.

Mr. Sharma holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics, highest honors in Business Management from Stratford Institute, USA and a SUN Solaris certification.

Indra Sood

Indra is an HR & Leadership Consultant with over 22 years of experience in Strategic Human Resource Management. As a Business Partner, she has designed HR processes & interventions to help individuals, teams, and organizations achieve efficiencies and effectiveness.

She has engaged deeply in the areas of Leadership Assessment & Development, 360-degree feedback, Individual Developmental Planning, Coaching, Organizational Development, Training Design and Delivery. Over the last couple of years, she has partnered with leading Consulting Firms like Aon Hewitt, SOIL (School of Inspired Leadership), Rubicon Learning Systems, SHL India, and Vital Smarts India. She has a wealth of experience working with Mid-level managers and Senior Leadership teams in various organizations spanning across sectors such as IT, Oil & Gas, Auto, Cement, Manufacturing, Agri Products.

Prior to her consulting role, Indra had a rich corporate career, spanning over 13 years. She was Head of HR for Mentor Graphics Noida Centre, Manager HR at C-DoT and HR Coordinator/Sr. Executive with Hughes Software (Now Aricent) and HCL.

Indra is an Alumnus of Delhi University where she received her Psychology Honors and MSW degrees. She also has Post Graduate Diplomas in PMIR, Training & Development. She is a life member of National HRD Network and has actively contributed to Professional Forums such as AIMA, TiE etc.

She is very passionate about enabling others. She enjoys brainstorming with upcoming entrepreneurs and spends time mentoring students. In her spare time, she enjoys travel and photography.

Dr Shivom Aggarwal

Shivom is a visiting faculty in HEC Paris, JKLU Jaipur and adjunct professor at IE University, Madrid with over 5 years of lecturing experience with Masters and MBA programs in Europe. His main research areas include Big Data analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Automated Replenishment systems, Smart cities and and Internet of Things with scholars from world leading research institutions. Prior to joining academia, he worked in Mergers & Acquisitions of high-tech companies with Bryan Garnier & Co (previously Cartagena Capital) an investment bank based in Munich, Germany. By training, he is a computer engineer with a specialization in information security, a Masters in international management (digital business) and with doctoral studies in Operations and Technology department at IE Business School, Madrid, Spain. He possesses international certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer), and CNA (Certified Network Administrator). He has been an entrepreneur and management consultant with technology start-ups based in Europe and Asia.

Surya Jeedigunta

Entrepreneur and Smart Cities Expert

Surya Jeedigunta is an Entrepreneur who has spent more than a decade in Silicon Valley mostly in Product and Business development working for telecom companies such as Broadcom Corporation and Centillium communications. He was part of the team that pioneered Sending internet traffic through Telephone lines which is called DSL Modem

In 2011 he came back to India and started his own firm SNJ SOLAR Energy Solutions to grow the Solar industry. Main activities include Identifying Co-development opportunities for Solar projects, strategies to unlock projects through JV/SPV for Project Development, Strategic Alliances, PPA pricing etc.

Also a founder and CEO of The peace, progress and prosperity foundation (3P foundation) , a Think tank dedicated to conducting Research, conducting public discourse and doing consulting assignments to various institutions with areas of focus being Smart city, Smart Grid, Electric Vehicles, EVSE Standards, Renewable energy. Surya Jeedigunta has written many articles on Smart city, intelligent transport systems, smart grid, SMAC and spoke in numerous seminars, conferences, and start-up communities.

He is the Author of a book “Shape Up for Smart Cities” to make you future-ready and participate in achieving India’s 100 Smart cities mission.
